Have you received a copy of a credit report?

When purchasing a product or service on credit, the company you purchase from is entitled to order a credit report on you. The regulations governing credit reports appear in the Swedish Credit Information Act.

On 1 January 2011, the legal provisions in the area of privacy were reinforced. As a result of this modification, a valid reason is always required in order to obtain a credit report on a private individual, and a copy of the report must always be sent to the person in question.
